FOMABROM is a universal black and white paper made on a baryta paper base. The chlorobromide silver emulsion gives the resulting silver image a neutral to slightly warm tone. The paper is characterized by a very rich halftone scale from bright white to deep black. It has a very high sensitivity, which allows the use of higher lens aperture numbers even when enlarging to a large format. Its high developing flexibility allows for a higher contrast result, while maintaining Dmin and simultaneously increasing sensitivity by up to 40%, to extend the developing time up to 4 min.
